Build a highlights pack
Save pages 1, 4, and 9 of a report into a short executive summary PDF.
Keep selected pages together in original order
For a report with a summary on page 2 and an appendix on pages 9-11, enter 2,9-11 to create one four-page PDF. Entering 11,2,9-10 gives the same original-order selection: the page parser sorts and deduplicates it. Use Rearrange afterward if you need a different reading sequence.
Page positions count from the first file page, including covers and unnumbered inserts. The new file starts at position 1, but printed labels still show their old numbers. Review whether the extract needs a title or context from an earlier page, and check links or forms rather than assuming the new subset preserves the original document navigation.
Extract two pages using a repeated page number

Open the input and enter 3,1,3 in Pages to extract. Select Extract PDF Pages, then download your result.
Check the result
You should see “Synthetic page 1” followed by “Synthetic page 3”. The repeated 3 adds no extra page, and the pages follow source order.
