Align document versions before interpreting red areas
The first upload is the original and the second is the revision. Pages are paired by file position: page 1 with page 1, and so on. If the revision inserts a cover page, subsequent comparisons are misaligned. Compare corresponding sections separately or adjust copies to the same sequence before relying on the visual output.
Only the page count shared by both documents is included; compare the original page counts yourself to catch added or missing trailing pages. Visual diff highlights changed pixels, not the meaning of edits. Font rendering, movement, and scaling can produce extensive red areas. Side-by-side output helps inspect those differences, but neither mode is a complete text or legal review.
