    Features

    • Converts DOCX text to PDF
    • Automatic paragraph and page flow
    • Private browser-only processing
    • Free without an account

Text-only conversion using a standard font and Letter-size pages. Images, styles, table layout, headers, footers, and original pagination are not preserved. Some characters are unsupported by the output font. Long text without spaces may extend beyond the page width. Check the downloaded PDF.

Worked example: Turn a short DOCX draft into a plain-text PDF

Tested October 17, 2026 with synthetic, non-sensitive files on this website. The files below are the inputs and actual browser-downloaded outputs from that test.

Share the words in a short draft when preserving the Word design is not required. The sample has a title and two paragraphs, including reference 24680 and an amount of 123.45 USD.

    Try the example

    1. Download the sample DOCX and choose it in the tool.
    2. Run Word to PDF and download the output.
    3. Open the result and check the title, reference, and amount against the DOCX.

    What we observed

    • All three paragraphs appeared in the downloaded one-page Letter-size PDF.
    • The output used a standard text style. The Word title styling was not preserved.

    When this is useful

Simple text drafts where a readable PDF is sufficient and you can inspect the result before sharing.

    Limits of this example

Do not use this conversion to preserve a designed rΓ©sumΓ©, table layout, image-heavy report, or exact page breaks. Some characters are unsupported, and long strings without spaces may extend beyond the page. For layout fidelity, use the source editor’s PDF export instead.

    Check your own output

Verify every paragraph, especially non-Latin text and long URLs. Check page breaks and look for clipped lines. Keep the DOCX as the editable original.

Decide whether a text-only reading copy is sufficient

A DOCX containing meeting notes or plain paragraphs can become a simple reading copy. The converter reads text from the document body and lays it out using a standard font on Letter pages. It rebuilds line wrapping and page breaks; the original Word page count is not a target.

A brochure with photos, a styled resume, or a form with tables needs a layout-preserving export from the original editor instead. Table text may appear without its row and column structure, and headers and footers are omitted. Check special characters and long unbroken URLs, which may fail font encoding or extend beyond the margin.

    Frequently asked questions
